This was a commission to design, print and make a pair of curtains, which I completed in December 2016.
After several consultations with the client, I drew a repeating pattern based on rice fields and frogs, inspired by my memories of living in Niigata in Japan.

I  matched the colours to complement the colours in their kitchen and then colour tested lots of different dye recipes in the workshop to make the right shade.  After showing the client samples, I then printed over five metres of fabric and made it into curtains.  The client and I were very happy with the finished piece.
